Description

A superb first-series Jaguar XK8, one of the earliest registered, in November 1996. It is a true classic: it turns thirty this November and is already registered with ASI, the Italian historic vehicle club, holding a Certificate of Historic Relevance (CRS).

The bodywork is close to perfect in a striking aquamarine green, not the usual British Racing Green, paired with a beautiful beige leather interior with matching green trim and carpets.

Mechanically perfect, with 180,050 genuine km and several major jobs carried out over the years:

• timing chain tensioners replaced in 2015, after which the car was used very little;
• automatic gearbox overhauled in 2016, with a statement from the previous owner.

In 2025 it was put back on the road after a long period in a garage, with the following work:

• eight new ignition coils;
• injectors cleaned and seals replaced;
• thermostat;
• full steering box overhaul;
• new battery and new tyres;
• full service.
