Saab 900 Turbo 1982

Description

A 1982 five-door Saab 900 Turbo, first registered in May 1982: the 8-valve Turbo with 145 hp and a 5-speed manual gearbox, in original model-year 1982 specification.

One owner, non-smoker, always garaged. 137,615 genuine km, regular servicing and periodic inspections. It keeps its original Turin number plates, registration document and ownership certificate. ASI-registered (the Italian historic vehicle club), it is over forty years old.

Recent work:

• injection, fuel line and exhaust overhauled;
• all filters and fluids replaced;
• Michelin TRX tyres at 80%.

Equipment: original MY'82 spoke wheels, front electric windows, central locking, sunroof, heated seats, four headrests, five seatbelts, headlamp washers and battery cut-off switch.

Metallic Slate Blue paint (112), resprayed a few years ago because of wear, never in an accident. Beige velour seats never redone, dashboard intact with no cracks. Never converted to LPG or methane, and no radio was ever fitted.

Only flaw: the headliner is partly coming unglued. The four black plastic wheel-arch trims were fitted after the photos were taken.

Supplied with the document folder, owner's manual, tool kit, two sets of keys and the original key rings.
